2016 Dodge Ram 3500 Release and Updates

After the 2015 Ram 3500 came with its torque rating bumped from 850 lb-ft to 865 lb-ft, the company decided to give its Heavy Duty truck even more torque. Namely, the 2016 Dodge Ram 3500 powered by the 6.7-liter Cummins diesel engine will have amazing 900 pound-feet of torque at its disposal. What is more, the American automaker claims that it will be the most torque ever offered in a mass-production model.

It’s interesting to note that the current version of the 3500 truck already offers the class-leading torque numbers and towing capacity. These great enhancements come as a result of several tweaks that include adjustments of the fuel delivery and the turbocharger’s boost. Also, the new rear axle gear now gets 16 bolts instead of 12.
