The return of the Silverado SS has been rumored for quite some time. According to some reports, it seems that Chevy’s performance-oriented pickup truck might make its comeback as a 2017 model. The new SS will also bring a modified suspension and retuned steering that should result in a significantly enhanced driving experience. As for the old version, it came equipped with a 6.0-liter Vortec V8 that generated 345 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque matched to a four-speed automatic gearbox. Compared to the discontinued model, the upcoming version is expected to offer much-improved performance figures.
